Guide for SportsEngine

How to run a photo contest on SportsEngine

SportsEngine runs the website and registration for many clubs and leagues, but it has no photo vote for a costume contest, a jersey design or a team photo award. A PicJury poll fits in a page of your SportsEngine site, and the same link works in any email or group chat. One youth soccer league ran its Halloween costume contest this way and got 7,611 votes in four days, most of them from parents passing the link around their group chats.

Make the vote

Steps

  1. Make the vote

On picjury.app, add 2 to 6 photos, one per team, costume or entry, and give each a short name. Nobody needs an account, you included. Pick how long voting stays open (three days is the default), so families know the deadline.

  2. Add it to a page of your site

In the SportsEngine site builder, add a Code element to a page and paste the code from "Copy embed code" on the page where you manage your poll. SportsEngine requires Full Access or Limited Access (Website) to add code.

  3. Send the link to your members

Put the poll link in your member email or team messages, and in the parents' group chats. Voters only tap a photo; they do not sign in anywhere.

  4. Ask each team to pass it on

Votes come mostly from people who share the link onward, so ask team parents to forward it to family chats. Most votes arrive in the first day.

  5. Share the winner

When voting ends, the poll page offers a winner card: the winning photo with its share of the votes, ready to post. Families of the winning team usually post it themselves.

What SportsEngine offers for votes

SportsEngine support does not help with code from other services, so this guide covers every step. If the embed does not show, check that the code went into a Code element, not a text element.

Questions

Do voters need a SportsEngine account?

No. They vote on the page or the link without signing in to SportsEngine or PicJury.

Can I show the result on the site afterwards?

Yes. The embedded poll shows the final result once voting ends, and you can post the winner card.

Is it free?

Yes. PicJury is free, with no ads and no paid plan.

Facts about SportsEngine checked in November 2026 on its own help pages. Write to help@picjury.app if something changed.
